The "5 Healing Arts" are the Branches of the Universal Healing Tao^® System

The 5 Healing Arts are rooted in the historical treasure of traditional Taoism. Classical Chinese Medicine, Feng Shui, Acupuncture, Qigong, Tai Chi and Kung Fu are some of the better known flowers. The Universal Healing Tao^® System of Grandmaster Mantak Chia includes these methods and exercises on a physical, mental and spiritual level.

The 9 formulas show the possible stages of development with the corresponding exercises. The 9 FORMULAS teaching system is divided into 5 Branches of Healing Arts. Grandmaster Mantak Chia thus facilitates the entry and deepening of this traditional, precious and ancient Taoist knowledge.

Five Healing Arts:

 ►   01.  UHT Tao Energy Cultivation - Basic   -------- (Earth) --------
The basis includes the practice of the "Inner Smile", the "Six Healing Sounds" and the "Small Energy Circuit", all of which are based on the 5 element teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine. These basic exercises allow us to balance the energetic imbalance in the body. In addition, we learn to cultivate the sexual energy "Jing Chi" to nourish the body. The "Inner Alchemy Astrology" provides an additional energetic overview with appropriate approaches for improvement.

►   02.  UHT Internal Martial Arts   -------- (Metal) --------
This is an extended Qigong that includes specific movement sequences and is practised in several stages in the areas of "Iron Shirt Qigong" and "Tai Chi" to strengthen the body's bone structure and achieve strong rooting.  Other focal points are the focus on our "Tan Tien" power centre and the practice of "Tao Yin". Basically, the physical body is prepared to move and store the very volatile chi forms awakened in later exercises.

►   03.  UHT Chi Nei Tsang^®   -------- (Water) --------
Chi Nei Tsang^® is an organ massage in which material and emotional blockages are released.Chi Nei Tsang^® is taught in several stages and sub-aspects and is primarily used to eliminate physical dysfunctions so that the energy and all fluids in the body can flow powerfully and freely. Chi Nei Tsang^® allows direct access to the energetic blockages in the physical body.

►   04.  UHT Cosmic Healing   -------- (Wood) --------
Cosmic Qigong is a method that has been largely unknown in Europe to date. It allows you to specifically absorb cosmic energies, store them and utilise them for health and longevity - for yourself and others. By activating the hands and acupuncture points, vitalising forces flow into and through the entire body. Cosmic Qigong is the shamanistic part of the UNIVERSAL HEALING TAO® system.

►   05.  UHT Inner Alchemy Immortality   -------- (Fire) --------
At this high level of Taoist inner alchemy, the cultivation and development of the root and heart centres and the transformation of sexual energy in the navel area (Tan Tien) are trained. The transformation of volatile emotional chi into usable life force is also an essential aspect of this rather meditative healing art. Beginning with the "Fusion of the 5 Elements", followed by the cycle "Enlightenment of Kan & Li" and the "Sealing of the 5 Senses", the highest Taoist teachings of Grandmaster Mantak Chia are made accessible to interested students.
